Privacy Notice
Last updated: 29 September 2026
In short: no cookies, no Google Analytics, and we don't sell your data. We count visits on our own server without knowing who you are. We only get your email address if you join the newsletter, request a key or write to us.
Controller: Muhammet Uz (Haughty Mole), iletisim@haughtymole.com. This notice covers the Turkish Personal Data Protection Law No. 6698 (KVKK) and, for visitors in the European Economic Area and the UK, the GDPR.
Visit statistics and tracking links
When you open a page or click a haughtymole.com/go/... link, our server records the page or link name, the time, the domain of the site that sent you (for example youtube.com), campaign tags in the link (UTM), your browser language, your device type and the country you connect from. The country is looked up from your IP address in a database on our own server; your IP address is not sent anywhere.
To count repeat visits on the same day only once, your IP address and browser details are turned into a short, irreversible code using a secret key that changes every day and is deleted the next day. We do not store your IP address or browser details, and yesterday's visit cannot be linked to today's.
- Purpose: understanding how the site is used, seeing which creator collaborations bring visitors, keeping the site secure.
- Legal basis: our legitimate interests (GDPR Art. 6(1)(f); KVKK Art. 5(2)(f)).
- Retention: 13 months, then deleted automatically.
Newsletter
If you join "Get notified at launch" we store your email address, language, the page you signed up on and the time of your consent (and of unsubscribing, if you do).
- Purpose: telling you when Title II launches and about major announcements.
- Legal basis: your consent (GDPR Art. 6(1)(a); KVKK Art. 5(1)). You can withdraw it at any time with the link in every email or by writing to us.
- Retention: while you are subscribed. After you unsubscribe, the record of your consent and withdrawal is kept for 3 years as required by Turkish law, then deleted.
Creator key requests
We use what you enter in the form (name or channel name, email, platform, channel link, audience range, language, message) to review your request, send a key, correspond with you and see whether you publish content about Title II. We may also look at your channel's public statistics.
- Legal basis: your consent and steps taken at your request before entering into an arrangement (GDPR Art. 6(1)(a) and (b); KVKK Art. 5(1) and 5(2)(c)).
- Retention: up to 2 years after your request is closed; rejected requests are deleted within 6 months.
Emails
If you write to us, we use your email address and message to reply (GDPR Art. 6(1)(b) and (f)) and keep the correspondence for up to 2 years after it ends.
Cookies and YouTube
We don't set cookies for visitors. The only cookie is a strictly necessary session cookie for team members who sign in to the site's admin panel. If you close the announcement bar, that choice stays in your own browser. YouTube videos load only when you press play; from then on YouTube's own privacy policy applies.
Who we share data with
- Our hosting provider Veridyen, where the site and database are stored.
- Members of our team who work on the studio's behalf, each with a personal account and only to the extent their work requires.
- The studio's own creator outreach tool running on the studio's computer, which receives newsletter sign-ups, key requests and visit statistics. It is not accessible to anyone else.
- Our email providers Hostinger (iletisim@haughtymole.com) and Google (Gmail), whose servers may be outside Türkiye and the EEA. Emails you exchange with us may therefore be transferred internationally to the extent needed for the correspondence you started.
- Public authorities where the law requires it.
We never sell your data or share it for advertising. Our domain's DNS is served by Cloudflare; your site traffic does not pass through Cloudflare.
Your rights
You can ask what data we hold about you, get a copy, have it corrected or deleted, restrict or object to processing and withdraw consent at any time. Write to iletisim@haughtymole.com; we reply within 30 days. You can also complain to the Turkish Personal Data Protection Authority (KVKK) or, in the EEA or UK, to your local data protection authority.
